  • Workshop-Contributions: The Workshop „Systemic Risks: New Strategies of Risk Governance for a New Type of Risks?“ took place on May 14, 2007, in Frankfurt/Main. With respect to societal problems like pharmaceuticals in the water cycle, release of genetically modified organisms and overweight and obesity in certain parts of the population, researchers from different disciplines discussed the question: How can systemic risk be characterised and which challenges follow from this for risk governance?
